A small scrap of Kaffe that I just couldn't throw away, twisted up and stitched. I love the colour of this fabric.

40/100 Bag Moths
Bag moth 40 is just a roll of printed paper.
I also seem to have to print it off to spot the mistakes, not very good at reading on a screen!

39/100 Bag Moths
Beaded wire bag
I had run out of space on my pin board for the bags so I have moved them into my hall, all pegged onto a string with tiny fairy pegs. I couldn't remember the order I had made them so the 1st 38 are just pegged up in a random order.

38/100 Bag Moths
A coil of cord stitched either side with a cross between back stitch and stem stitch. I hoped to only stitch it one side but the cord wouldn't stay in place.

A weekend away
Bag moth 31
Bag moth 32
Bag moth 33
This weekend I was on a fantastic stitching retreat with a bunch of lovely women from the Waikato Quilters guild. We sew the whole time with the addition of lots of talking and laughing and the odd glass of wine!
I decided I would just take my box of tiny scraps that had got a bit out of control and make free cut houses. I had a great time and made a pile of random sized house blocks that I will join together to make a quilt. I think I will get a stripe or spot to add to the side of some blocks to make them the correct size to join together. At least then there would be one fabric that appears throughout the quilt.
